2019 Comic-Con International: San Diego

The SAN DIEGO COMIC CONVENTION (Comic-Con International) is a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation organized for charitable purposes and dedicated to creating the general public’s awareness of and appreciation for comics and related popular art forms, including participation in and support of public presentations, conventions, exhibits, museums and other public outreach activities which celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and culture.

The Lake Como Comic Art Festival

The Lake Como Comic Art Festival is a joint presentation by many of the same people who created Big Wow Comic Fest in California and the Paris Comic Expo. As with the prior events, LCCAF focuses on the best creators from around the world in the comic book industry. After looking at our initial guest list (with more names to come!), we hope you agree. What you will not see are media or cosplay guests or vendors selling trinkets only marginally related to the comic art world. They clearly have a place at some conventions but not at LCCAF.

NYC Comic Art Expo

The NYC Comic Art Expo

Our next show will be Sunday April 28th at Manhattan’s Hotel Pennsylvania on 33rd St. in the Gold Ballroom.

We are very excited to announce Mike Mignola creator of Hellboy as our first scheduled guest at the Expo.

In addition we will have 25 original Winsor McCay artworks on display
and offering publicly for the first time from the collection of Chris Parente, who’s father Joseph Parente ran The Little Nemo comic shop in NYC for close to three decades.
